Eye cancer is a rare type of cancer that starts in the eye. Based on eye cancer statistics provided by the Canadian Cancer Society, 290 Canadians were diagnosed with eye cancer in 2016. Despite its devastating effects, there is a disproportionately low amount of awareness and funding for eye cancer patients.
This experience will give you a taste of what blind patients have to go through every day - eating in the dark. By temporarily losing your vison, our goal is to have you treasure your eyesight and think about supporting those who have to eat in the dark every day for the rest of their lives.
