We are 25toLife
25toLife is a joint project between Kamal Masri's SFU Beedie School of Business Project Management class and the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).
This project aims to raise funds for cancer research and to support individuals who are affected by this disease while learning project management.
Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 for the CCS by December 2019.
After meeting each other for the first time on September 3, 2019, we decided we would organize seven diverse fundraising events.
Thank you for all of you who are joining our team in the fight for life.
And that is something we can all live for.

Fall 2014 Class: 2nd Edition

Some of the events held: Bubble Soccer, Charity Poker Tournament, The Cinema for Cancer, and The Climb for Life.
Fall 2015 Class: 3rd Edition

Fall 2016 Class: 4th Edition
The target goal was again set to $30,000 for the 2016 Project Management class. Due to unfavourable weather conditions and lower than expected enrolled students, the goal was not reached. Depsite these difficulties, the class was able to raise $25,900 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Some of the events held: Gaming for Life, Santa's Little Pet Helpers, Eat for a Cause, Kick for the Cure, and Dirty Funk.
Fall 2017 Class: 5th Edition
In 2017, the Project Management class was aiming to raise $27,500. The project experienced many obstacles that resulted in missing the target goal, in which the class raised just over $16,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. The 25toLife project was retired for the 2018 year.
Some of the events held: Strike Against Cancer, Beauty-Con Simon Fraser, Tougher than Cancer, and Wintery Winter Social.
